See The Images of Made In China's New BMW 5-Series Li

The first official images of China’s long-wheelbase 2017 BMW 5-Series have leaked online before the vehicle’s debut on April 19 at the Shanghai Auto Show.

The release of these photos come about 7 weeks after unofficial images of the car made their way onto the web and show a mid-size sedan that promises interior space to rival that of the regular 7-Series.

Officially dubbed the 5-Series Li in China, the wheelbase of the car has been stretched by 13.3 cm (5.2 in) to provide rear seat passengers with additional legroom. Viewed from the outside, the extended doors are the most obvious giveaway of the long-wheelbase car.

Inside, these images show that that rear seat passengers will benefit from more room than ever before and enjoy the perks of a touchscreen display on the arm while being surrounded in sumptuous Nappa leather. Two 10.25 inch screens have also been installed in the rear.

When sales of the model begin, three engine options will be available. The first, the 525 Li, will have a 2.0-liter turbo’d four-cylinder with 224 hp while the second will be the 530 Li with a punchier 252 hp 2.0-liter. Last but not least will be the 540 Li, installed with a 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six offering up 340 hp.

Jet Capsule Suggests Two-Seater Drone as a Sleek Carbon Body

This was designed by Pierpaolo Lazzarini from Italian Company Jet Capsule, the I.F.O or ‘Identified Flying Object’ is a proposed two seater drone/copter vehicle. The chassis, composed of a main central capsule cockpit, measures two meters in diameter and is surrounded by a carbon fiber disk with an overall dimension of 4.70 meters.

Jet capsule‘s I.F.O. is fuelled by eight electric engines, able to push the flying object to an estimated top speed of about 120 mph. Different energy resources are provided from various batteries located in the disk and with an additional battery pack placed at the center of the capsule body, the estimated flight autonomy ranges between sixty and seventy minutes. For a smooth landing, the vehicle has six folding and extending suspensions — which makes it possible to access the I.F.O through an elevator, generated from the lower sub-spherical body. Otherwise, the capsule can be accessed by two removable bridges, available on any specific landing station.

See The Rare Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion Which Sells For N2.5Billion

Imagine when you have to buy a car that's worth 2.5Billion naira. An exceptionally rare 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion has sold for $5.665 million (N2.5Billion) at Gooding & Company’s auction at Amelia Island.

Just 20 units of the GT1 Strassenversion were produced for the street to meet homologation requirements to allow the GT1 Evolution to race at the 1997 Le Mans 24 Hours. As a result, the car really is a racing car for the road, not simply a road car with a roll cage and lightweight wheels.

Beneath the skin, the 911 GT1 Strassenversion features a twin-turbocharged 3.2-liter water-cooled flat-six engine delivering 544 hp at 7,000 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. While those figures may not be extraordinary in 2017, the do allow the street racer to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and a 310 km/h (192 mph) top speed.

The example in question is chassis number 005 and was reportedly just the second example produced. It was originally delivered to a German customer and during his ownership, driven a total a 4,400 km.

In October 2003, the GT1 was sold to Don Wallace from Florida where it remained until 2009 when another Florida collector purchased it. It was ultimately acquired by a German and returned back to its motherland before coming back to the U.S. in 2015 where it underwent a meticulous detail.

At the time of sale, it had 7,900 km (4,900 miles) on the clock. Porsche 918 Spyder eat your heart out.

Bugatti X Palmer Johnson Dream Up $2.2 M Super Yacht in the Image of the Chiron

Just in case owning a Bugatti Chiron wasn’t extravagant enough, the luxury automobile manufacturers have teamed up with Palmer Johnson to dream up a $2.2 million yacht inspired by the iconic car. the ‘Niniette 66’ is the second model to come out of the collaboration and combines the two palmer brands’ 207 years of heritage into a 20-meter long luxury vessel. Decked out with Max V9 engines, the super yacht embodies Bugatti’s automotive heritage, reaching speeds of up to 48 knots.

The vessel takes the Bugatti Chiron’s trademark curve from the sides of the car to the sides of the yacht, creating an unmistakable parallel between the two luxury vehicles. Painted with the auto manufacturer's trademark blue, the Ninette 66 comes decked out in carbon fiber and titanium.

The yacht’s interior exudes possibly, even more, decadence than its streamlined outer. the lounge is designed to ‘cocoon you in a mixture of precious materials’—soft leather contrasted with polished metal, and suede paired with carbon. the trademark Bugatti horseshoe is the centerpiece of the Ninjette's interior design, featuring sweeping curves and a Macaroon skylight that pay tribute to the brand’s automotive history.

The super yacht comes decked out with more luxury amenities that you could imagine fitting into the 20-meter long craft. The lower deck named the ‘sun pad’ features a champagne bar and Jacuzzi. Should you feel a bit chilly after taking a dip, you can warm up next to the yacht’s fire pit. the craft also incorporates a gallery, kitchen, a guest bathroom, and an enormous bed.
