Vladimir Putin’s 7-Ton Limo Makes Debut At Geneva Motor Show

If you want to ride like Vlad — Russian President Vladimir Putin, that is — this may be the limo for you.

At the Geneva Motor Show, Russian automaker Aurus has trotted out a hulky, luxurious Senat Limousine L700 with lines vaguely reminiscent of a Rolls-Royce.

It should be noted that Putin’s Bunker on Wheels is a modified version which the company has worked on including adding some high security, armoured workings on it.

The company's stand on Thursday featured a model that once toted around the Russian leader. He's also driven the Aurus himself.

Russian automaker and the maker of Vladimir Putin’s armoured Limo, Aurus, has revealed the hulky luxurious Senat Limousine L700 at the ongoing Geneva Motor show.

While the one on display may not be as secure as Putin’s Bunker on Wheels, the L700 at Aurus stand still come in a seven-ton armored version and an unarmored model.

The 21.7 feet (6,630 mm) long Limo has a massive 14.1 feet (4300 mm) wheelbase that dwarf the Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase.

Hilgert said the vehicle comes with 600 horsepower and an automatic transmission, all made in Russia.

Executives are aiming to start sales in Europe next year or 2021. Aurus spokeswoman said pricing wouldn't be announced until next month.

Aston Martin Unveils Electric Lagonda All-Terrain Concept At Geneva Motor Show 2019

Aston Martin‘s electric spin-off brand Lagonda has unveiled its all-terrain concept at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It follows on from the Lagonda Vision Concept four-seater exhibited last year, tailoring the design of this previous model to meet the challenging environment an all-terrain vehicle is capable of reaching.

Unlike the aero-inspired Lagonda vision concept, the Lagonda all-terrain concept takes some of its initial design language from the world of the superyacht. There’s a large rear overhang, which has a clean, curved beltline running across the hatchback panel.

The car has an advanced electric drive train with batteries that are stored low in the floor, allowing the designers to fit rear-hinged back doors that afford easy ingress and egress. Set into the wide clamshell rear hatch, is a thin light strip that hides the source of its illumination. A rear shelf, which slides out from the floor extends when required in order to offer a platform for occupants to perch on.

The interior features an even-handed ambiance spread between all four seats. While there is still the option of rotating the two front seats to face the rear two during autonomous operation, there is a greater expectation that the vehicle will be controlled by the driver during the journeys that it will undertake

There are no vents, grilles or speakers can be seen inside the all-terrain concept. When considering the design, Aston Martin wanted a calm and quiet feel, with soft materials like Cashmere rather than wood and leather. Lagonda wants to use the lines and contours formed by the car’s materials to create a ‘renaissance’ perspective effect that draws passengers’ eyes to the windshield, the side windows, and up through the glass roof.

However, the most unusual feature is the key which floats when it is placed in position, levitating between the front seats. for what reason we are unsure. perhaps it is some effort to appear futuristic.

Set to go on sale in 2022 at a new state of the art facility in St Athan, Wales – Aston Martin Lagonda’s ‘home of electrification’. Aston resurrected the British luxury car marque as a sub-brand driven by zero emission powertrain technologies.

Fiat Concept Centoventi Previews The Future Electric Panda In Geneva

As its name in Italian suggests, the FIAT concept centoventi celebrates the quirky, beloved brand’s 120th anniversary at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. In their typical fashion, the concept car aims to break away from traditional looks, design, and engineering to showcase a bold, democratic, affordable vision of electric mobility in the near future. As a highlight of this, the vehicle can be re-configured on a daily basis by its owner.

With compact, almost monolithic proportions, the FIAT concept centoventi starts as a blank canvas that embodies the brand’s ‘less is more’ philosophy – and a hint of styling from the ‘Panda’ model. Its simple, uncluttered design is ready to be tailored by its customers. To start with, there is a choice of four roofs, four bumpers, four-wheel covers, and four external wrappings. A straight waistrail highlights its strong two-box look whilst wide door bumpers, which are made from a new expanded foam material, absorbs scratches and knocks.

Customer freedom doesn’t just stop at the exterior though; colors, interior configuration, infotainment system, and even battery range can be customized on any day they like. 114 accessories – sound system, dashboard and door storage, and seat cushions – can be purchased online and fitted by customers at their own homes. The spacious four-seater interior encompasses their modular ‘plug and plays’ principle. Small holes on the dashboard and door panels enable additional components of any shape and function to be fitted. furthermore, the front passenger's seat can be replaced by a child seat or even a storage box when needed.

The FIAT concept centoventi offers you more in terms of their renowned Italian design, spaciousness, and care for the environment. The vehicle is equipped as standard with a factory-mounted battery with a range of 62 miles. This can be enhanced with up to three additional batteries in order to increase the mile range to a total of 310.

These Are The Top 10 Futuristic Cars At Geneva Motor Show 2018

When Asa sang the theme song for GTBank, A place to be, little did we know she is sounding prophetic as we are yet to know that the future will come so soon, of a true, welcome to the future.

Every year the Geneva Motor Show plays host to the most extravagant car designs the world has seen, from global automotive giants to small supercar shops. Traditionally a trade fair for the supercars from the likes of Ferrari, Mclaren and more, a higher number of super-tech cars have also been receiving their world premiers at the show in recent years. For the Geneva Motor Show 2018, this trend has increased even further, and as such, we present to you some concept cars to watch out for.

Icona Nucleus

As such, it shows a new understanding of interior spaces, as the passenger focus is no longer on the road but on the destination. The fluid and sculptural exterior form feature semi-transparent body-color panels that allow occupants to see out, while offering privacy, much like a protective bubble.

As a service as well as an actual vehicle, it becomes part of the smart city ecosystem. The concept provides an on-demand mobility solution via instant booking on an app, and even has a dedicated embarking station, which blends in with the urban environment.

Revived under the famed British brand, Aston Martin, the Lagonda ‘vision’ concept is a dark and mysterious reassertion of refinement, where, paradoxically, it is styled in a combination of subtly and boldness. Softly smoothed surfaces and sharp lines sculpt its exterior, with an uninterrupted window flowing from the front all the way to the rear. Continuing this sense of modest luxury in the interior, the space, like an upscale yacht, uses materials consisting of British wools, silks, and cashmere.
