Forget About The Lies and Deceits, Aba is in Total Decay - Twitter User

A Twitter user, Jackson Ude has taken to his page to lament and lambast the Abia State Government for what he termed, "Bad Roads across Aba". According to him,

If you are from Abia state, listen up. Enough of all the lies and propaganda. Enough of all the deceits. Aba is in total decay. We must speak up now. Either Ikpeazu and his gangs shape up or ship out in 2019. Abia state is in decay. What is this???

Whether it is a federal road or not is not an excuse. Why do we have Federal Lawmakers, most of whom are lackeys of the Governor? If they cannot mobilize and have the roads fixed through federal appropriations, are they still worth our votes and support?

These are some of the pictures he shared...

Lagos-Ibadan Rail: Station Construction work in Ebute Metta, Lagos.

Construction has commenced on the Ebute Metta Station. The Line will start at the Apapa Harbour. Ebute Metta will be the second Station, starting at the Railway Compound in Ebute Metta, where the Lagos-Ibadan Rail Main Station (the biggest of the 10 Stations) is going to be.

The Lagos end of the Corridor will involve substantial demolition work (and payment of compensation where required). We hope this won't cause delay, Lagos is always the issue whenever construction wants to take place.

The convoy of the minister moves to Kajola, in Ogun State. The Yard where soil testing is done is located here. There will also be a Railway Station here. Earthworks going on currently, and from there, the next stop is Papalanto. That’s the HQ of the Project: Project Management, Manufacturing & Fabrication, etc.

There will be 4 #LagosIbadanRail Stations in Lagos State: Apapa, Ebute Metta, Agege, and Agbado.

Ebute Metta will be the biggest, the Flagship Station for the Line.

Apapa Station will have a Hotel & a Shopping Mall on the premises.

3rd Mainland Bridge: Update Of Traffic Around Lagos Metropolis (Photos)

It is no news that the 3rd Mainland Bridge has been shut. The bridge was shut to analyze and also to do some Investigative Maintenance Test on the bridge. The 28-year-old bridge is the busiest bridge for road users in the country as it links several roads from the Island to the Mainland. Due to the closure of the bridge, Lagos traffic was never the same again as virtually all roads are blocked. From Lekki to Yaba, Island, everywhere was bumper to bumper.

These are pictures from what people pass through today...
