Innoson, Shell Partner For Supply Of Innoson Vehicles - Photos

What started as ridicule to the company in September on social media pages over its design and the authenticity of its cars has finally paid off and Innoson is having the best of its investment in Nigeria due to patronage from companies and organizations around the country.

The Chairman/CEO of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma OFR signed a Contract Purchase Agreement with ED Ubong, the Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd. The signing of the agreement will see the supply of Innoson Vehicles to Shell Nigeria for its official and operational uses.

In his brief address, Chief Chukwuma stated that Innoson Vehicles being the first wholly indigenous and leading vehicle manufacturing company in Nigeria has established themselves as the leaders in major markets across Nigeria and West Africa due to its high safety standards, dynamic and exhilarating performance, ruggedness, durability, absolute reliability and affordable prices.

Today in Africa, we are witnessing a revolution in car manufacturing led by Innoson, to produce the best vehicles that meet International and Standard Organization of Nigeria standards.

In his speech, ED Ubong said Shell Nigeria over the years has shown the lead among its contemporaries on the patronage of local content. The MD further recalled that this year, Shell emerged the International Oil Company with the most impactful Local Content Initiatives in the upstream category at the 2019 edition of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on April 4, 2019.

The Shell Nigeria Gas MD also stated that the company will not just patronize Innoson Vehicles but also help it to improve its quality and standard by constantly recommending areas for improvement.

The event also witnessed the cutting of tape which signifies the introduction of Innoson Vehicles as a vehicle supplier to Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd.

Innoson Unveils Keke Napep For Medical And Emergency Purposes - Photos

Innoson Motors has unveiled a new brand of their work to the public and it is a Tricycle popularly called Keke Napep or Keke Marwa among Nigerians. The idea behind this Keke Napep according to Innoson is to navigate paths, streets that are inaccessible by Bus Ambulances. This will enable first responders to respond to medical emergencies faster than a car, van or truck which are normally held in traffics.

Also, healthcare centres in rural areas can use IVM Tricycle Ambulance to attend to emergencies e.g. child delivery, critical medical treatments. There are paths, short cuts in rural areas that can't be easily accessible by big ambulance vehicles, IVM Tricycle Ambulances can save the day. However, these Ambulances have been used over the world. Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing (IVM) introduced the Tricycle Ambulance as part of our innovative drive.

For over 3 weeks now, Innoson has been in the news, first, it was about the BBNaija car that was presented to Mercy, the winner and then the contest for the change of logo to change of name among others.
