Shoemakers sent to China for training start their practical classes in China

30 Aba-based shoemakers sponsored by the Abia State Government have arrived Chengdu, China for a one-month training course. They will be trained in shoemaking at the Chengdu Zaproma Shoe Company.

When Governor Okezie Ikpeazu met with them prior to their departure, he pleaded with them not to vamoose into thin air so they do not block the road for those coming after them. We look forward to welcoming all 30 of them back on Nigerian soil.
