Lekki Concession Company Hikes Its Toll Gate Fee


Lekki Concession Company Ltd set to increase toll fare effective from November 8th 2017.
New toll fare at Lekki-Epe Express way is below:

With these new prices, Saloon car owners who paid N120 at the Admiralty toll gate will now be expected to pay N200. At the Link bridge toll gate, N300 would be collected, instead of N250.

SUVs would be expected to N250 at Admiralty toll gate instead of the previous N150; and N400 at the Link Bridge, which used to be N300. See the revised price list below:

Motorcycles- N100
Salon cars & tricycles- N200
Sport utility vehicles- N250
Light trucks &2- Axle buses- N400
Heavy Duty Trucks-N1000
Commercial buses mini Buses-N150

The question now is that why are they increasing the fare? Under what conditions and has the loan not been fully repay for almost 6 years now?
