Ekiti Residents Cry For Help As Road Collapses On Cars, Houses After Heavy Rainfall

The residents of Oke Ureje, Federal Poly/ ABUAD/Ijan/ Ikare road have cried out to both the state and federal government as they are completely cut off from the main city of Ado Ekiti.

According to an eye-witness report,  the bridge has for years been showing all signs of total collapse, instead of finding a lasting solution, it was reported that the government have been spending money patching and window dressing it.

The collapsed road links to other parts of the state which makes the road an important one. The collapse will definitely have a strong toil on the residents of this area especially the students of these community who are close residents of this community. The cause of this collapse was to to the heavy downpour at the weekend.
