A Review Of Gokada 2.0, Its Intercom and Customer Ratings - Photos
It's no news that Nigeria's hailing company, Gokada has undergone a serious rebranding and customer handling training. The company closed his business for two weeks in order to retrain its handlers, rebrand and introduce new bikes which are more faster, more rugged after a disappointing outing that the CEO experienced personally. According to Fahim, the CEO of Gokada on his medium post on August 13th, he said, Gokada had to shut down in order to re-train most of its riders on how to use the GPS, teach them on the use of Google Maps navigation, the company is getting brand new bikes, teaching them on safety measures on the highway and lastly, customer relations and satisfaction.
Gokada is definitely going through strict competition as new hailing companies are emerging all in the bid to gain new customers. In Lagos, they have about 2 strong contenders who will break the bank to win the heart of customers.
After the relaunch of Gokada tagged Gokada 2.0, there seem to be some major changes, not only have the bikes been changed to a newer version of TVS bikes, also, we noticed some addition to the helmet. A closer look at the helmet shows that every helmet has a Bluetooth/GPS/Microphone device. This attachment is a device that helps the driver to communicate wirelessly without using their phones, also it helps to navigate the GPS, Bluetooth connection effortlessly. With this device, they can connect to 5 different people that are within their range for communication or for an emergency.
AutoReportNG decided to do a quick assessment of a biker and we noticed that each biker just as others now have their customize polo shirt, each of the pilot's helmet has a gadget attached to it for easier communication to either the clients, the pilot also has a new phone (we can't confirm if this is from GOkada or just a personal item), also, unlike before, the passengers were treated as a demi-god, nice conversation with the biker that one wonders if these are from the mars.
A close assessment of the communication gadget called Motorcycle Helmet Bluetooth is a Motorbike Handsfree Headset Headphone for Music GPS for 5 riders. The Wireless Headset Helmet Headsets costs about $90 on Amazon.com and costs £80 in the UK. It has a standby time of about 450Hours.
