Responding, Mr. Jelani Aliyu thanked his guests for their visit and commended them for their valued contributions not only to the automotive industry but to national development generally; adding, "Without the efficient performance of vehicles being used by millions of Nigerians on the road, the economy itself will ground to a halt."
NADDC DG assured that he would work very closely with NATA because "Your contributions to the life of Nigerians, to the economy of the country and to the economy of the West Africa sub-region is immeasurable."
Specifically, Mr. Jelani Aliyu said the Council would train NATA members on emerging technologies in the automotive industry with a view to enhancing their efficiency in the maintenance and repairs of new generation vehicles.
